Speak hands for me.

This fall I have the honor and privilege of joining an incredible company of women to play Casa, Messala, and others to tell the story of Julius Caesar with an all-female cast! We began rehearsals on Saturday August 10th, and performances will be Saturdays and Sundays in September. Performances are free and open to all. Check out my homepage and follow on social media for details.

A Christmas Carol 3.0

After only a few months in Pittsburgh, I headed out on the road to rejoin Nebraska Theater Caravan’s 30th Anniversary tour of A Christmas Carol, reprising my role as The Ghost of Christmas Past. It was a delight to reunite with friends old and new and spread Christmas cheer across the nation. The tour had me away for the months of November and December, but I was able to return home just in time to celebrate with family. After several seasons away while in grad school, it was enlightening and a good challenge to bring myself back to this role I last performed in 2014. Stay tuned for an exciting teaching artist update!

Month-i-versary in PGH

We’ve “officially” been in Pittsburgh for a month.
So much has happened, not the least of which is signing with an agency!
I am now represented by the Docherty Agency for TV/Film, Voiceover, Commercial, and Print work. The team there is warm and generous, and I am thrilled to be working with them!

Together, Cubbie and I have also:
painted a living room and dining room
ordered and arranged a lot of furniture
auditioned for multiple theatrical productions
had coffee dates with inspiring local artists
had coffee dates with new friends
had coffee dates with ourselves
enjoyed trail runs in Frick Park
connected with a new church
attended two local-premiere shows
been to our first Pittsburgh potluck(!)
cooked dinner with friends (multiple times)
had dinner with family (multiple times)
helped my parents paint the exterior of their Cincinnati home
camped out for our anniversary
completed 23 Insanity Max:30 workouts
shared many late-summer scoops of ice cream
snuggled friends’ newborns and small children
…and much, much more!

It feels good to be here. Thank you for your continued support of us on this artistic journey!

Violin and the actor/musician life

Wheels down in Pittsburgh! I've officially been in Pittsburgh one week. We're settling into our new home (painting tomorrow!), and I've already had multiple meetings, an audition, and a violin lesson! I've been playing on-and-off without lessons for the past several years, but with more time now that grad school is over, I'm loving having an opportunity to dig back in an invest in the musician part of myself. Stay tuned!

HSRT Closing Week!

It's hard to believe that the summer has flown by as quickly as it has. Holland and Hope Summer Rep have been incredibly generous to both Cubbie and I, and our summer here has proven to be an excellent respite between grad school and what lies beyond. Next week we finish moving to Pittsburgh, where he is the new Technical Director at Pittsburgh Public Theater. Check them out and their 2018-2019 season here!

Please let us know if you're planning to visit the Steel City. We would love to host you!
